We are delighted to announce that Mahoney Architecture won the 2018 Office Building of the Year Award. The project was a fantastic team effort and we are extremely grateful to our superb Client ‘Oakmount’ for their confidence and support on this project. We are also extremely grateful to the Design Team which included , JJ Campbell Structural Engineers, OCSC Services Engineers, TTT Landscape Architects , KSN Quantity Surveyors, Murphy Facade Studio, Maurice Johnson Fire Safety Consultants, and to our main contractors Glenbrier who built this superb building.

Charlemont 55 has been shortlisted for Office Building of the Year 2018
Winner to be announced on October 4th
Construction work has commenced on the redevelopment of Ballymoss House in Sandyford Business Park – the entire building is being redeveloped with a new central atrium and is being rebranded as ‘The Hive’ .
Construction work is under way for a new mixed us office and retail building located at the corner of South Richmond Street and Lennox Street in Dublin 8. The development will be completed in early 2019.
The redevelopment of Transaer House to provide new headquarters for the GNIB is now under construction.
Mahoney Architecture have recently completed the fit-out of a new post-graduate facility for TCD’s faculty of Computer Science and Statistics. The 1,200 sq m fit-out provides a research and teaching space for up to 140 students, as well as office and administrative facilities. The entire project from inception to completion was carried out in less than 12 months and is now fully operational.
The shell and core construction for Charlemont 55 is now complete and we are delighted with this new addition to the backdrop of the Grand Canal in Dublin.
The building provides almost 7,000 sq. m. of accommodation and the entire building has been leased to Zendesk.
Paschal Mahoney is a guest speaker at this year’s Iron Mountain Festival.
He will participate in a discussion on one-off housing in the Irish Landscape and will make a presentation on Workhouses in Ireland based on his publication ‘Grim Bastilles of Despair’.
