Via Verde

Via Verde is an office campus comprised of 5 buildings set around the new public Park, with a total floor area of 52,950sq.m. The building entrances are partly ‘eroded’ by the Public Space – where the plane of the facade is angled inward to form recessed entrances with generous pavement depth to accommodate ease of pedestrian movement to and from the buildings. The entrance recesses are framed and sheltered by double height colonnades formed with board-marked black concrete columns. At the entrance of each building, a double height entrance lobby provides a light-filled airy space which will be landscaped to read as an extension of the Park outside.

The main staircase of the building core opens into the entrance lobby to encourage greater pedestrian mobility by the building users to circulate via stairs and limit the use of lifts.

Floor plates have been carefully designed to allow for both split or single floor tenancies. Floor to ceiling glazing allows light to penetrate deep within the plan whilst centrally located large atria provide light to the central spaces and creates a collegiate environment for the employees. The atria are seen as extensions of the open park spaces and will be landscaped to emphasise this relationship. The main passenger lifts within these Blocks open onto a galleried lobby which looks into the light filled atrium from each floor.

All upper floors enjoy extensive terracing and each floor has two terraces to ensure each potential sub-tenant has access to private outdoor terrace areas.

Each block enjoys a terraced area over the entrance colonnade which is accessed off an additional double height space (directly over the main entrance lobby). These terraces are strategically located to facilitate potential bridging between each block at second floor level to create additional pedestrian linkage between blocks.
